Sunset Lagoon Cabanas

This cabana is perfect! Located right on the water’s edge, there are amazing views of the lagoon and the Mayan mountains. You will not find a better place for sunsets than right here. This Mahogany cabin is built on 10 ft stilts to catch every breeze, with large windows on all sides. Underneath the house is a laundry room with washing machine which you are free to use, and hanging lines underneath house. Kitchen: Large U- shape with breakfast bar and stools, mahogany cupboards and tile counters, fully equipped. Full sized fridge/freezer and oven. Open Plan Living room with comfortable futon. Queen bed made out of beautiful exotic wood, attractive wicker armoire/wardrobe in corner of living room area. Bathroom with special pressurized shower head. 3 ceiling fans help circulate air from the large surrounding windows. Large L shaped porch, 3/4 screened in, water on 2 sides (lagoon and canal), stunning views of sunset over the lagoon and maya mountains, with dolphins and wild life abound. Ceiling fan, hammock and table/chairs set up on porch. large enough to give 2 people space and privacy but can also comfortably seat a small crowd for sunset cocktails… No A/C, (not needed because of plenty of airflow). No TV provided, although hook up available. The grounds include an acre of land contains 3 cabins, surrounded on 3 sides by water, with virgin mangroves on the 4th. The canal alongside has a boat ramp, and the nearest 3 lots are vacant. We’re at one of the widest parts of maya beach, so as far from the beach road noise as you can get, only the sound of lapping waves, and fish jumping. Plenty of bird, wildlife, fruit trees, fishing, and gardening if you desire. Only a 5 minute walk down a shady lane with friendly neighbors to the best beach in Belize, bars, restaurants and grocery store. Our lane is actually one of the very few in the area with full mature tree cover and the toucans appreciate it, so walk slowly and you may see all sorts!
