Discover the sizzling flavors south of Belize at “FISH FESTIVAL 2014,” a three-day event (October 10th – 12th, 2014) that will showcase both the preservation efforts and the cultures of Punta Gorda, Toledo District!
Explore Punta Gorda, a wonderland of ancient attractions, heritage, cuisines and mystique. It’s all available in Punta Gorda! Get acquainted with the locals as the festival events features a “Seafood Gala,” “Youth Conservation Competition” and the “The Grand Finale”!
Be immersed in all the highlights of this fun-filled weekend, such as: coconut husking, greasy pole competition, cast net throwing, fishing tournament, the Panerfix Steel Orchestra, and more!
Festival Events
- October 10th: “Seafood Gala” – venue is Fr. Ring Parish Hall on Main Street, Punta Gorda (7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)
- October 11th: “Youth Conservation Competition” – venue is Fr. Ring Parish Hall on Main Street, Punta Gorda (6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)
- October 12th: “Grand Finale” – venue is TIDE compound, 1 mile from Punta Gorda Town (11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
