Carnaval & Jouvert 2014: Vibrancy Amplified
Be present as the streets of Belize are set alight with masqueraders jiving to pulsating soca and reggae sounds, at “Carnival Road March” and “Jouvert”, on September 13th, 2014!
Getting in the groove of Belize is easy during this vivacious celebration of heritage and history. Experience the well-choreographed spectacle of colors and extravagant costume! It all starts with the early morning “Jouvert” (a chocolate and paint street-party through the streets of Belize City), followed by the costume parade, “Carnival Road March”!
Street-Party
- Jouvert 2014: Starting and Ending at the San Cas Plaza in Belize City (at 4:00 a.m.)
- Carnival Road March 2014: Starts at Yarborough and Ends at the B.T.L Park on Marine Parade (1:00 p.m.)
Photo-ops will be plenty, so get your camera settings ready for this once-a-year festival of colors throughout the principle streets of Belize City!
