Band Festival of Corozal District 2014

The universal language of music is shared harmoniously among cultures in Belize, and what better venue to experience the rhythms of Belize, than Corozal District’s “2014 Band Festival” on April 12th, (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)? Be present for this event as it commences with a march through the streets of Corozal Town at 9:00 a.m.

In its 9th year, expect the pulsation of the musical performances at this festival to enthrall you.

Event:

  • 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Parade/March through the streets of Corozal
  • 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Field Show (Band Performances, food and drinks) at Santiago Ricalde Stadium

  • Starting at (midway) Santa Rita Road
  • 7th Avenue
  • 1st Avenue
  • 4th Avenue
  • 5th Street North
  • Ends at Santiago Ricalde Stadium

Band Festival:

Be enlightened by the musical performances on display as these competitors set new records, adding to the vivacious nature of the festivities. Cheer and applaud your favorite band, from the different categories (Marching Band with Wind instruments and the Drum Corps) as they vie for the prestigious win. Audiences are in for a treat as this melodious festival unveils, with live performances by the local popular bands, as well as a plateau of delectable cultural food and drinks on sale.
